Who we are
ABOUT
Our association is based on the idea that culture grows and becomes richer when it is openly shared with others. We strive to create environments where friendships form and ideas thrive through get-togethers, workshops, and events.
We are glad to present the diversity of the Arab world, from music and languages to cuisine and traditions. We also encourage the thoughts and perspectives of non-Arab members who decide to join us on this journey.
We feel that it is important to foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels that they belong.
This is a home away from home.

Mission
Our mission is to bring together students who are interested in Arab culture while al
From dinners to cultural events, we host gatherings that showrious aspects of Arab heritage while motivating, educating and inspiring others.
By encouraging communication between Arabs and non-Arabs, we eliminate prejudices and promote respect for one another.
We give members the chance to contribute to their individual stories and life
Our association is dedicated to promoting inclusivity, making sure that everyone is heard and feels welcomed.
We support our members in discovering their identities and taking pride in their heritage.
Vision
Our vision is to establish a welcoming, lively community in Amsterdam where Arab culture is celebrated, recognised, and shared.
Our goal is to act as a cultural link between Arab students and the greater university community.
We envision a network in which members support one another on a personal, social, and academic level.
Through meaningful interactions, we hope to foster interest and encourage cross-cultural interaction.
Our aspiration is for the city’s diverse scene to be actively strengthened by the ongoing preservation of Arab history.
We believe that communication and openness encourages unity. We want ASAA to be perceived as a source of friendship, cultural knowledge, and collective strength.
Our objective is to enable students to maintain these principles beyond their time at university.
Ultimately, we intend to create a legacy of celebration, connection, and cultural understanding.
